1250 S. Michigan Avenue

Called Michigan Avenue Tower, 1250 S. Michigan Avenue is a towering residential skyscraper that stands 32 stories high in a premium location close to downtown Chicago. CCS was the Owner’s Representative on this new mixed-use development consisting of a five-story podium, including retail and indoor parking, and a total of 224 living units constructed on top. The steel-level retail was built in conjunction with a 300- car capacity heated parking structure. The building’s amenities include heated indoor parking; a business/conference center; a community room; and a fitness center. Quality was of prime importance on this high-end development as the developer intended to hold the property over the long term. As the owner’s on-site representative CCS was tasked with oversight of the construction manager’s work and maintaining a high degree of workmanship in addition to strong fiscal control.
