About The Project
Aldine Independent School District (ISD) occupies 111 square miles in north Harris County and serves 67,000 students, placing it among the largest districts in Texas. A number of Aldine ISD schools have earned recognition, including making the “Best High Schools in the U.S.” from U.S. News & World Report (gold, silver, and bronze medals) and “Best Schools Rankings by Children at Risk.” Since launching the district’s strategic plan in fall 2019, the focus is to increase and expand the reach and scope of successful initiatives, such as improved school performance. CCS helped with renovations to four existing schools for the Aldine ISD: Orange Grove Elementary, Thompson Elementary, Hambrick Middle School and Hoffman Middle School.
