The August Wilson Center For African Cultural Center

This 64,500-square-foot, four-story cultural center serves as a hub for people celebrating the contributions of African Americans to music, theater, dance, science, athletics, business and other spheres of American life. The sleekly modern facility features a permanent exhibition gallery devoted to African American cultural history, changing exhibition galleries for the work of current African American visual artists, an education center with classrooms, a 486-seat proscenium theater and a music café featuring live performances.
