About The Project
Westfields has become the largest and one of the most prestigious corporate communities in the Washington, D.C., region. The 1,100-acre, Class A, mixed-use community accommodates up to 14 million square feet of office, flex/R&D, retail, hotel and associated space and is approximately seven miles south of Washington Dulles International Airport in Fairfax County, Virginia. CCS took part in installing pollution controls for generators at the Boeing facility. The project included the conversion of six existing 1500-kilowatt generators to reduce emissions by 80%, including minor architectural, structural and electrical work relating to the replacement of equipment.
