About the Project
Las Amercias is a diverse senior community, owned by the Chicago Housing Authority. CCS led exterior renovations of the property made possible by the Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD), a voluntary program of the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), which seeks to preserve public housing by providing Public Housing Agencies (PHAs) with access to more stable funding to make needed improvements to properties.
As part of our contract, CCS provided critical review of the exterior skin and enclosures. CCS is engaged with the CHA through Term Contracts to provide cost consulting services directly for the CHA as well as through Term Contracts with various A/E’s spanning over 24 years.
