About The Project
Headquartered in Houston, Texas, ConocoPhillips is one of the world’s largest exploration and production companies with operations and activities in 15 countries, $85 billion of total assets and approximately 10,100 employees. CCS led the interior renovation of its 74,451-square-foot global conference and training center, comprising two floors of the Adams Building, the company’s original headquarters. Constructed in 1948, the building was ahead of its time, with unique amenities such as a bowling alley, fitness center, swimming pool and basketball court, but it needed updating. The new spaces include meeting rooms, conference rooms, a data room, an auditorium, a café, administration offices, as well as a serving kitchen, an exercise room and a children’s corner.
In addition, CCS led the renovation of space within Hotel Phillips at the existing conference and training center. It was built in the 1940s by the company and originally designed as a hotel and apartment building for employees; work was completed in the early 50s.
