About The Project
The 2 million-square-foot State Farm headquarters is in Bloomington, Illinois, the company’s original location. Today, State Farm insures more cars and homes than any other insurer in the U.S. and is currently ranked number 36 on the Fortune 500 list of largest companies. CCS provided estimating and cost management services to the owner for a renovation to the atrium and escalator improvements, including the evaluation of four different design options. Our work in the four-story, 22,600-square-foot atrium included the replacement of all escalators; modifications to the surrounding area at the base of the first- and second-floor escalators; and various architectural, electrical, structural, and mechanical engineering refinements to accommodate the proposed new design.
