About The Project
CCS is part of a term contract for the US Department of State (DOS), Office of the Procurement Executive Acquisitions Management (A/OPE/AQM) to provide cost consulting services for new US embassy facilities worldwide. This includes studies of potential existing and new facilities, which will act as housing and offices for embassy staff for various countries, through to full design estimates, schedules, and bills of quantities for the projects.
CCS worked through the challenges of globally compiling accurate information relative to the sites and facilities. This necessitated constant communication with local representatives and the US-based design teams to ensure thorough due diligence. Our ongoing review of pricing needed to take into account local market prices, tariffs, resources and attendant costs, much of which the team assembled during in-person site visits.
