Wheaton Downtown Streetscape

CCS was involved in Phase 1 of public infrastructure improvements identified in the Wheaton Downtown Strategic and Streetscape Plan. The Plan outlines a vision for the next twenty years to elevate downtown Wheaton by pursuing a number of civic improvements and regulatory changes designed to increase the capture rate of retail, office, and residential land uses in the downtown area. The multi-year infrastructure project brings updates and improvements to underground utilities, roadways, lighting, and signage while creating wider, more pedestrian-friendly sidewalks throughout downtown Wheaton. CCS provided services for the selection of a design consultant related to the RFQ process, RFP and selection process, conceptual design agreement development and process, and cost estimating.
